BOON is an independent creative lighting design studio based in Lisbon, founded with a mission to provide inspirational lighting solutions and to ensure our client’s expectations are exceeded.
We believe lighting is a “BOON” for architectural projects and we work with light as a material, bringing together art, science & technology. 

Natural light inspired us every day and teach us to explore light and darkness. We love to integrate it into the design of our projects whenever possible.

As an independent lighting designer studio, we offer impartial advice and personal service focusing completely on the benefit of our clients. We have no commercial links with manufacturers, suppliers and installers of lighting equipment. We always select the best solutions for the project, delivering the highest quality on time and in budget.

Senior Lighting Designer living in Lisbon (BA in Interior design from IADE and a Post-Graduation in Lighting Design from FAUTL).
16 years of experience in several types of architectural projects including hotels and resorts, spas, offices, shopping centers, shops, museums, residential buildings, houses, public spaces and landscapes across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Initially worked as a lighting technical consultant for Erco in Portugal and in 2010 she started working as an Independent Lighting Designer in different studios.
Creative, perfectionist and diligent, likes to work in a highly organized and methodical way.

Architect and Lighting Designer living in Lisbon (BA from Universidade Lusíada + MA from Architectural Association + Course in Lighting Design from LDS).
Started her professional activity in London at the Dexter Moren and Foster and Partners. After returning to Portugal, worked in advertising as an art director assistant and collaborated in several architecture studios.
Prior to the co-foundation of BOON was responsible for the internationalization of a lighting design studio based in Lisbon in the Middle East market and for the development of the lighting department of a Saudi studio with offices in Lisbon, Venice and Saudi Arabia.
